Our Angels in Heaven
These are our precious babies who were not strong enough to fight anymore and went home to heaven, we will never forget them.
Matthew 9-21-2002
"An angel in the book of life wrote down our baby's birth, and whispered as she closed the book...
'Too beautiful for earth’"
-- Author Unknown
God blesses us all with special angels in our lives, some are here for a lifetime, others but for a fleeting moment, yet these angels still touch our lives in a marvelous and influential way. Jesus said the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these, small children who can come with a faith untainted by man, Just think of how many small children are in heaven, we tend to think of only the gray haired saints that lived long for Jesus, but think of all the little children who have gone on to heaven too, the mark they made on this earth is great too, as great as some who have walked this earth for 100 years, because a small innocent life can touch us all in a way that we can not grasp, and when taken from us, it leaves a hollow feeling like no other...
In Memory of our special angel Baby God gave us for only a time, and then took onto rock in his arms in heaven. Jesus, Here’s another child to hold...

Gubert: our Jujubea.
Loved and adored by many for the two short months of his life, Gubert departed this world for a vastly beautiful place on November 3, 2002 at 11 o’clock pm. Gubert was our first baby and very special to us like all of our precious angels, he touched our lives in a way we can’t quite explain. Gubert is now rocked and cradled in the arms of angels waiting for us all in Heaven his loss will be felt for long in our hearts but yet he will push us forward to find homes for all those behind him in him a great inspiration can be found. Abandoned at birth in a hospital in Port-Au-Prince Haiti he seemed healthy but his little fighter spirit was hiding the harsh facts that our precious Jujubea had a battle to fight against his own body. Our Haitian staff tried all they could to save him, even

Jefferson
Precious Jefferson was with us for such a short time, his loss was a great shock, he was in stable health, and was older than the other children we had lost. Jefferson became severely dehydrated, and despite hospitalization, his body was just to weak from malnutrition to fight it. He is loved and missed, by our staff, and by the loving family that was in the process of adopting him. It never ceases to amaze me how many lives a child can touch in such a short period of time. Jefferson was a very precious baby who will never be forgotten.

"For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." -Revelation 7:17
Santee
This beautiful little girl was with us for a very short period of time, in fact only a few days. Most of her time connected to Bresma was spent in the hospital. When she finally came to stay at our home, she was still sick. She had a very bad infection on her ankle, it was a deep sore.  We did what we could to keep her comfortable and happy.  Santee had gorgeous eyes and soft creamy skin. She was so gentle, even her cry was soft.  Her last night with us, I had the privilege of rocking her and cuddling her. You could tell that she just wasn't at peace here with us.  She fell asleep and went home to see her Daddy in heaven as we arrived at the hospital the next morning. Even though she was only with  us for a little while, she will never be gone from our hearts.

Milanda
October 23, 2002-September 8, 2003
Things like loosing a precious baby never get any easier or less painful no matter how often it happens. I know it goes without saying that Milanda’s gentle presence will be missed so very much, this precious angel touched many hearts during her short time with us, her departure caught us by surprise, she seemed healthy but she was just to small to fight off dehydration. Please pray for the family who had just accepted Milanda’s referral, only God can comfort them.

“May my cry come before you, O Lord; give me understanding according to your word.”
~Psalm 119:169

RoseLaure
May 31, 2003- March 20, 2004
Beautiful little RoseLaure with those soulful eyes flew away into the arms of the angels early Saturday morning March 20th 2004. As Mary's daughter so profoundly pointed out, in the first photo we recieved of RoseLaure she is forming the "Peace sign" with her fingers, and she has indeed found her eternal peace with the Father. She has left pain, but we have found it. So as RoseLaure spends her first night in her forever home, Heaven, we praise God for saving her tiny soul and taking it home to love forever, none of us could offer her the love He has stored up for her.

“O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.” ~Psalm 63:1   Thirst no more My child...
Lovely
March 2004 - August 2004
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to baby Lovely, for she has flown home to the arms of angels. She fought long and hard with a brave little spirit but it appears God had not made for this world but destined her for a more heavenly realm. Her abscense will be felt long in the hearts of all who loved and cared for her, but we will press on in Lovely's memory to save as many children as possible. Tonight we have a new radiant angel smiling down at us.
Gayenslie
October 21, 2004 - March 10, 2005

Precious Gayenslie has gone home to heaven, she has left us with an unspeakable void that can only be filled with much sorrow and longing. The sort of grief left by a child who has never known what it is to chase her wildest dreams is unimaginable. May Gayenslie's life be a reminder of how blessed we are to live each precious moment of our own lives with so much oportunity at our fingertips, may it serve to remind us just how priceless every moment of every day is.

"The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never set again and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end." ~Isaiah 60: 19-20
Kepcia - Banner
September 25, 2004 - April 17, 2005

Sweet little Kepcia will no longer grace us with her beauty, for today, she is playing with the angels in heaven. Our grief is only comforted by the knowledge that Kepcia has no more pain, she no longer longs for arms to hold her close at night. Kepcia is craddled in the arms of her heavenly father, and His Banner over her is love.

"How very softly
You tiptoed into our world.
Almost silently, only for a few short months you stayed.
But what an imprint
Your footsteps have left
Upon our hearts."

"He has taken me to the banquet hall, and his banner over me is love." ~Song of Songs 2:4

going to the Red Cross and setting 7 hours to give their own life’s blood for him just as Jesus shed his blood for us so were they willing to do the same to save sweet Gubert, what a true testament of their love for this little prince. Jujubea we love you yesterday, today, and forever!

Prayer For A Very New Angel God, God, be lenient her first night there. The crib she slept in was so near my bed; Her blue-and-white wool blanket was so soft, Her pillow hollowed so to fit her head. Teach me that she'll not want small rooms or me When she had You and Heavens immensity! I always left a light out in the hall. I hoped to make her fearless in the dark; And yet she was so small -- one little light, Not in the room, it scarcely mattered. Hark! No, no; she seldom cried! God not to far For her to see, this first night, light a star! And in the morning, when she first woke up, I always kissed her on her left cheek where The dimple was. And oh, I wet the brush. It made it easier to curl her hair. Just, just tomorrow morning, God, I pray, When she wakes up, do things for her my way. ~Violet Alleyn Storey
