Bresma Orphanage & School:
Brebis de Saint-Michel de L'attalaye, is an orphanage sponsored by Answered Prayers, and is located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This orphanage is a loving haven for Haiti's orphaned infants, toddlers, and older children. Established in August of 2002 Brebis de Saint-Michel de L'attalaye has grown rapidly expanding into two orphanage homes and a school in the last four years.
The baby orphanage houses infants and toddlers up to 4 years of age, while the big kid house is for children ages 4 and up.The orphanages are is staffed with nurses and caregivers, as well as supervisors, directors, adoption couriers and facilitators. A doctor is also on call. All of these people are lovingly watching over and caring for these precious children of God.

The BRESMA school was introduced in October 2006 as a means to educate Haitian children in order to raise up the next generation of Haitian leaders. At the BRESMA school siblings of those children who have been adopted by foreign families are given first preference for enrollment. Donations of school supplies are an on going need for this facility.
Cell Phone Program:
As part of our outreach program we are now working with several young men in Haiti working as an entrepreneurs to improve their own lives. These young men live at a home called Haitian Christian Youth. To help these young men start their cell phone business, we are trying to collect as many cell phones as possible, they can be new or used.
The phones that work in Haiti have to be tdma compatible
(Non compatible phones are worth $5-$10 USD for parts)
The Role of Prayer Partner
As a Prayer Partner you will receive e-mails about prayer concerns we or others may have, you will also receive pictures and information of children your prayers are touching. In the most urgent of cases you may receive phone calls, but most if not all of the time you will receive prayer requests in the form of e-mails Please be aware we send these e-mails in the form of a group mail meaning your e-mail address will be listed with several others who will receive the e-mail. You may request to have the e-mails forwarded to you separately if it is important to you to keep your e-mail address private.
Requesting Prayer
When requesting prayer please supply us with your name, e-mail address and the prayer concern you have, Please send this information to Heather: hdkp@hotmail.com and it will from there be dispatched to our Prayer Partners. We will not send them your
personal information or even your e-mail. We will only include the name or situation being prayed for, what the prayer is for, and any other relevant information. Please do not feel your prayer requests have to be adoption related. Any prayer concerns you have, family illness etc, are welcome.
